40 years old, and you can still get classic ST episodes without the CGI icing. Nice.

It took a sequel to beat the daylights out of a Prequel. Who’d have thunk it?

On a soundstage somewhere in California:

GEORGE LUCAS: Come on, we’ll just put in Indy and the bad guy in post. Nobody will know! And can we shoot the movie in digital? Pleeeeeeese?

STEVEN SPIELBERG: For the thousanth time, George, NO!

Heck, this has a whole lot more of a chance of getting made than Indy 4. :pfft:

So now, Indy 4 is a go. Or, at least, Lucas says it is. Spielberg is coming back, Ford is coming back (with his walker ), and Lucas will be lurking nearby. I’m still not convinced this is going to happen, and after GL’s blather last summer, I’m not holding out hope this will be any good. I’m counting on Spielberg to put his foot down when he needs to, but that just might not be enough to save it.

Is he gorgeous or what?

Recently, QQB from the Chinese SW forums and others have been posting early pics of Lord Maul, who will be landing on these shores very soon. Sideshow is busily processing orders, and there’s a good chance that a few folk (including me!) might see him under the Christmas tree in a few weeks.
